The most current version of the Shared Ground software is 2.0.4.
If you are an authorized user of an earlier version and you
wish to upgrade to the most current version at no-charge,
click the "download now" link below to download
the latest version.
Download Now!
Once you have clicked on "Download Now!" click on "Save" to continue. DO NOT click on "Run".
The "Save As" box will appear. Be sure to note where you are saving the download.
When the download is complete, click on "Open Folder". You will be directed to the downloaded folder and file. Open file Shared Ground_v_2_0_4_final.exe.
Click on "Run". The software installer will open.
Upgrades: If you have a previous version of Shared Ground on your machine, choose "Remove" to upgrade to the newest version and "Next" to continue. Existing xml files will not be removed. Confirm file deletion by clicking "Yes".
When complete, click on "Finish". Then repeat the previous procedure by going to the downloaded folder and file. Again, open file Shared Ground_v_2_0_4_final.exe and click "Run".
To continue the installation, click on "Yes". (To install Shared Ground, you must accept this license agreement.)
The Readme screen will be displayed. Click "Next" to continue.
Verify the desired installation file (destination) location is acceptable and click "Next" to continue.
Verify the desired Program Folder name is acceptable and click "Next" to continue. The setup will complete the installation process. Click "Finish" when done.
To access the complete Shared Ground folder and to open the Shared Ground program, click on Start > All Programs > Shared Ground > Shared Ground.
To create a shortcut on your desktop, while at the above shown location, right click and scroll to "Create Shortcut". A "Shared Ground (2)" will appear on the "All Programs" screen. Drag this icon to your desktop. If you like, from the desktop icon, highlight "Shared Ground (2)", right click, choose rename, and type Shared Ground 2.0.
Additional information is available by choosing "Shared Ground Help" or by opening the Shared Ground program and clicking "Help".
